Chalet Kent is like a home. We are here to welcome the youth as they are. They come here to play, to socialize, to learn, to be themselves, with their stories and emotions of the day.

The NBS studios is our little gem. Here, youth can express themselves in their own language and talk about their realities and what matters to them. Whether it is just to experiment or downright put in the work to make a living out of a passion for music, our studio director is there to guide them mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Soccer has always had an important role at Chalet Kent. We believe in the sport offers opportunities. We've had Michel and Boni coaching the youth any season of the year. You will see then in he field anytime of the day and always training the youth towards their dreams.

We strongly believe in mentoring through video games. It is also an excellent opportunity for youth to develop transversal skills that can be used for academic success, but also to manage their emotions and create links between them in a healthy way. We hope to demonstrate that video games offer interesting professional opportunities to youth, whether in game creation, streaming, script, design or otherwise.

Our multimedia space is where magic can happen. We record podcasts with the youth, make photoshoots and film content that can be useful for all. With professional equipment and the help of our super talented team, we make sure to have a proper finished look in all our projects either for Chalet Kent or our partners.

We love to have conversations with youth about everything and anything. They spend their time in school listening (or not…) but they don't often have the space to express themselves and hear each other out. We make sure to share our values of respect and openness during these moments, and hope they become more curious, confident and develop critical thinking.

It all started with an initiative from Concordia : Makerspace. Old and young can use their imagination and chose little objects to print, whether it be baby yodas, the NBS logo or glass frames. Our 3D printers are a fun, creative and healthy way to use technology.

We want all our youth to succeed in all areas of life, which is why we offer individual or group tutoring and aide aux devoirs any time they need it.

During our hours it might be more difficult to go more in depth. This is why we offer mediation services: to take the time to help the youth and their family to understand each others needs and way of communicating.
